People Power Pill, was born in Artist Residency, Artis Den Bosch, in s’Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Born from an artistic and political thought against the capitalist societies, against the big companies and above all from the thought about the crisis that we live nowadays.
People Power Pill, is more than a peppermint candy, the main objective is the message, it contains outside and inside of the box.
People Power Pill, is a project not only of those who created it but also yours, or of anyone, anywhere in the world, where you can distribute the People Power Pill boxes. People Power Pill, already has a date scheduled for a simultaneous distribution in several countries of our little Earth. The day proposed for the distribution is 1st of May of 2010, this will be the first distribution in a different scale than the one made in Den Bosch. The goal beyond the distribution of the boxes to the people, is also a video recording the process. All the videos we can upload to the official tumblr. Any person, who wants to distribute the boxes in his/her country will be responsible for making the video and send it by mail to the administrators, who will upload the movie.
People Power Pill, is a project of mine, yours and all of us, and is open to new actions and new ideas of those who wish to participate. There already exists a logo that can be printed on a t-shirt or on a medical uniform, giving to it some credibility with some proper criticism.
The distribution of the People Power Pill boxes can be done anywhere where it is relevant, in a shelf of a pharmacy, in a kinder surprise, in a happy meal from mcdonalds, etc.. It is up to you where you want to make the distribution.
